Accounting Clerk West Chester, Ohio Pay: $20-$22 per hour Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Friday Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations at their West Chester, Ohio location. This is a first-shift opportunity offering competitive hourly pay and a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting with a focus on accuracy. Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Process accounts payable and/or accounts receivable transactions, including invoice entry and payment application</li><li>Review, code, and match invoices to supporting documentation</li><li>Assist with billing, cash posting, and account reconciliations</li><li>Maintain accurate and organized financial records</li><li>Resolve invoice or payment discrepancies with internal teams and external vendors</li><li>Support month-end close activities as needed</li><li>Perform data entry and general accounting support tasks</li><li>Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding accounting questions</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience in an accounting clerk, accounts payable, or accounts receivable role preferred</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Basic knowledge of general accounting principles</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Experience with accounting or ERP systems is a plus</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills</li></ul>Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
