The Deputy should be results-oriented with the ability to quickly establish and maintain effective working relationships with Health Department management and staff, including direct reports, peer departments, community stakeholders, federal, state, and local agencies, and the public; exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing. Loudoun County consistently ranks among the healthiest counties in Virginia, both in health outcomes and health factors; however, beyond the County's prosperity, many vulnerable and underserved residents also require services provided by the Loudoun County Health Department, which delivers health services to improve and safeguard the well-being of all Loudoun County residents, businesses, and visitors.
