Strong understanding of MEP / Electrical / Mechanical Systems and Equipment in a data center environment: HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, Boilers, Chillers, cooling towers, Air handling units, Generators, UPS systems, Switchgear, ATS / STS units, PDUs, RPPs, Electrical Power Distribution, etc Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) preferred. The onsite Engineer to be the "bridge" that connects the Owners, Contractors and Operations, to serve as the onsite engineering representative for an active data center colocation site and assist with any Capex / Opex design / build projects.
