The Per Diem Medical Assistant (MA), is a patient caregiver who, under the general supervision of the Clinic Manager and the medical supervision of Student Health Services' (SHS) Doctors, is responsible for direct and indirect patient care activities including phlebotomy and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) waived laboratory testing.
