Position Purpose The Nurse Practitioner_Urgent Care demonstrates a high level of independence and clinical expertise in the management of urgent care patients using advanced clinical skills, diagnostic reasoning, and therapeutic interventions while integrating education, research, management, leadership, and collaboration with other health professionals into their clinical roles to maximize a patients health. Certification(s): Board Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (A-GNP), or Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) issued by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), required at time to hire.
