The Hospice Medical Director provides medical oversight of the hospice program, certifies patient eligibility, and partners with the interdisciplinary team, attending physicians, and community providers to deliver compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care. Reporting to the Hospice Administrator, the Medical Director assists in the management and administration of Optage Hospice's clinical services and serves as our liaison to the local medical community, helping us fulfill our purpose of "Creating Smiles in the Eyes of Residents.".
