A key focus of the role is driving quality outcomes through evidence-based practice, managing clinical variation to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and collaborating with physicians and administrative leadership to enhance existing services or develop new service lines. Reporting to the COO, this director oversees seven departments including the OR, PACU/recovery room, same-day surgery unit, Central Sterile Supply (CSS), infusion center, and GI with a total headcount of approximately 120 staff across 12 operating rooms.
