Performs lab procedures as directed by the provider including phlebotomy, peripheral sticks, collecting and preparing urine specimens, throat smears; conduct lab testing onsite after appropriate training, including waived and moderate complexity studies. Prepares patient for provider evaluation, including obtaining specimens, positioning for exams, listing medications, assisting during exams and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
