INTRODUCTION:
Volunteers of America Mid-States (VOA) is a non-profit organization spanning four states that creates positive change in the lives of individuals and communities through a ministry of service. Responsible for coordination with other medical professionals as needed and any and all medical oversight as required to fully meet the medical needs of the service recipients in accordance with State of Tennessee guidelines.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE FOR THIS ROLE: The position requires the employee to be currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the State of Tennessee and experience equivalent to one year of nursing, nursing experience for individuals who have Developmental Disabilities and/or Mental Health concerns is desirable.

Responsible for providing direct care, training and assistance in the various aspects of activities of daily living, self care, leisure/recreation, developmental training, prevocational and/or vocational and is responsible for upholding consumer’s rights.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE FOR THIS ROLE:
High School diploma or general equivalency diploma preferred, or commensurate skills.
