Makes outgoing calls to patients, referring physician offices, outside clinics and hospitals for various reasons including but not limited to: confirming appointment times, give scan preparation information and special instructions, obtain appropriate patient information and insurance verification. Obtain appropriate medical documentation and reports from other departments, physician's offices, outside clinics and hospitals and coordinate the delivery of information to ensure information is distributed to the appropriate locations and physicians.
