Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients, having the ability to assess data reflective of such patients' status, identifying each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and applying the principles of growth and development of such patients. Receives and prepares for testing, various types of body fluids and/or tissue, following established procedure to ensure the integrity and positive identification of the specimen submitted.
