To fulfill the requirements of this position, the incumbent must possess the skills necessary to navigate various web sites including but not limited to multiple reference laboratories, blood suppliers, proficiency testing providers, multiple laboratory reagent suppliers, the BMHOC portal, the BMHOC document repository, and the hospital's electronic medical records system. This position has the primary accountability for organizing and performing accurate, prompt, and cost-effective laboratory testing to assure valid test results as well as effectively communicating these results to appropriate parties.
