Job Summary: In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position is also responsible for performing highly complex laboratory tests/procedures to provide data for use in treatment and diagnosis of disease; supporting pre-analytical processes to ensure timely and appropriate patient care; operating lab equipment with moderate supervision; identifying and escalating issues that may arise during testing processes; troubleshooting equipment issues that arise when running tests with moderate guidance; and developing an understanding of techniques used in specialty fields (e.g., microbiology, histopathology, hematology, diagnostic immunology, immunohematology, chemistry, or morphological examinations). Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree in medical lab technician or health care related field AND minimum one (1) year of experience in medical technology, clinical laboratory sciences, or health care related field OR Minimum two (2) years of experience in medical technology, clinical laboratory sciences, or health care related field.
