Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience with telemetry; experience interpreting rhythm strips, managing central lines, starting intravenous lines, drawing blood, titrating diltiazem, heparin, and insulin infusions, providing wound care, surgical and post-operative care, wound vacuum management, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tubes, tube feedings, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), tracheostomy care, ventilator management, chest tubes, and drains; charge nurse experience; comfort caring for ventilated patients. Additional Information: Patient populations may include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chest pain, post-cardiac catheterization recovery, diabetes, cellulitis, chronic tracheostomies, wounds, ventilator dependence, surgical conditions, and heart failure.
