The role includes care for patients with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), isolation precautions and personal protective equipment, medical-surgical and telemetry needs, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care and management, pre- and post-neurosurgery care, spinal cord injuries, substance withdrawal, and traumatic brain injuries. Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year of recent experience caring for neurological patients; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; compact nursing license in hand at submission; experience with electronic health record documentation; proficiency in neurological nursing skills.
