p>Essential Job Functions: Provide courteous and friendly service to all patient and contributes to a positive team-based work environment Facilitate good patient care under the supervision of providers, assisting with such tasks as patient education, examination preparation, taking vitals, recording patient medical histories, injections, ordering labs and procedures Patient scheduling Prepare exam rooms with necessary equipment and supplies and keeps exam rooms clean and tidy Electronic maintenance of patent records and other information.
Qualifications:
Completion of and certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program/school Current CPR certification or obtain within 4 months of hire Working knowledge of medical terminology Ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, push and/or carry up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time Previous experience preferred.
