The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) is seeking a skilled Fleet Service Technician to perform mechanical and electronic service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on a diverse fleet of automobiles, heavy trucks, construction equipment, and snowplow and spreader systems. This position requires strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and research skills, along with the ability to independently assess equipment needs, plan and prioritize work, and respond effectively to unanticipated service needs.
