Perform administrative duties in support of the clinic: pre-screen clinics, determining if any pre-visit imaging is needed, ordering imaging and contacting patients to come in early to have it completed, reviewing prior electronic medical records prior to patient visits, input profiles into patient databases, compose necessary correspondence, such as memos, doctor s notes, orient and train new clinic staff. Familiarity with casting/splinting, instrument sets used during orthopedic surgery, radiographic units, orthopedic traction equipment used for orthopedic related procedures, preparing patients for surgery and assisting orthopedic surgeon during procedures and basic knowledge of central sterile supply procedures.
