Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or eligibility to obtain Vermont licensure) • Eligibility for Vermont Educator License – School Nurse Endorsement (3-65) • Bachelor’s degree preferred • 1–3 years of nursing experience preferred • Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, public health, or youth-focused settings preferred • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills • A flexible, student-centered, and collaborative approach. • Provide direct nursing care and health services to students • Assess and respond to student illnesses, injuries, and health concerns • Support student wellness, health education, and preventative care initiatives • Respond appropriately to emergency situations within the school setting • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and support staff • Maintain accurate, confidential student health records • Apply clinical knowledge across pediatric, community, emergency, adult, and mental health nursing as appropriate within the school environment.
