Employ Evidenced Based brief oriented therapies for patients and their significant others that include social, emotional, and practical life skills to facilitate safe coping, distress tolerance, stress reduction, mindfulness, and relaxation as well as access to necessary resources with the goal of improved functioning and positive health outcomes. Position Purpose: The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides behavioral health services at a Recuperative Care Center in a manner that upholds the JWCH mission to improve the health status and well-being of under-served segments of the population of the Los Angeles area through the direct provision of health care, health education, residential services, and research.
