Maintains awareness of community resources and services in Coles and surrounding counties, Other duties as assigned, Participates in planned supervision and case consultations, Participates in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth, particularly to maintain license, certification or identified program performance skills, Possesses ability to maintain confidential information within HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies, Possesses a working knowledge of substance abuse theory and drugs of abuse, Possesses a working knowledge of various therapeutic approaches utilized in the provision of mental health services, Possesses the ability to be flexible with scheduling and site locations and to perform and prioritize multiple duties, Provide crisis intervention/support to consumers and referral to higher level of services where appropriate, Provides services and conducts self in a manner consistent with licensed profession’s Code of Ethics, Represents the organization in a professional manner with various in-service and/or community presentations, Supports the organization’s mission, along with sensitivity to cultural issues and workplace harmony. Ability to help consumers feel at ease during consultation and facilitate ongoing sessions with individuals, groups or families, Ability to monitor consumer progress and appropriately disengage once treatment goals are met, Demonstrates the ability to manage work processes, including strong computer and time management skills for documentation purposes.
