This work requires safe use of verbal and physical intervention techniques when necessary, exposure to youth with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviors, the ability to obtain and maintain certifications in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), CPR, and First Aid, and the physical ability to kneel and return to standing, and to safely intervene when necessary. Lawrence Hall is a Chicago-based nonprofit social services agency that provides therapeutic, wellness, and skill development services to youth, families, and neighborhoods affected by lasting trauma.
