Peer Mentors will provide Gateway students information about resources and conduct weekly check-ins consisting of: phone outreach, emailing, in-person appointments (if requested by the student), advocacy, referral to support services within Gateway and off-campus. If you have unmet financial need as determined by the most recent FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), are enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at Gateway and have a GPA of at least 2.0, you may be eligible for FWS.
