D. in immunology, glycobiology, synthetic biology, or a related area; experience managing an independent research project to completion and publication; a track record of innovation; excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills; and ability to learn quickly, function both independently and as part of a team, and work with a variety of people from all backgrounds and at all levels of training. Experimental approaches used in the lab include cloning/molecular biology, protein engineering and biochemistry, mammalian cell/tissue culture, flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing, transcriptomics, and animal models of disease.
