Then, you want to join our Global Security team.Position Summary:As a Security Officer, you will report to the Belfast Security Manager who leads the efforts and activity of the Belfast Security team. This diverse team of experts provides concierge-level services to athena employees while also managing risk to our personnel and operations through a robust set of security policies, programs, and awareness campaigns. The GSS Team is a part of athenaEnvironment.Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform Security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a company vehicle utilizing handheld Track Force device.</li><li>Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.</li><li>Verify authorized visitors and guests for entry into the facility.</li><li>Monitor Access Control and CCTV systems.</li><li>Activate alarms or call first responders in case of fire, medical emergency or presence of unauthorized persons or threat.</li><li>Watch for and report on irregular or unusual conditions that may create security risks or safety hazards.</li><li>Support on-site security requests from employees.</li><li>Document all shift activities in the daily activity report.</li><li>Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.</li><li>Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, parking concerns or carrying forbidden articles.</li></ul>Typical Qualifications<ul><li>Associate degree or higher in any discipline</li><li>Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, National Guard or Law Enforcement</li><li>Minimum of one year verifiable and successful professional security experience</li><li>Meaningful and verifiable work history</li><li>Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Building Access and CCTV software systems</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Flexibility, Intellectual Curiosity and Enthusiasm for Change</li><li>Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.</li></ul> Expected Compensation$35,000 - $59,000The base salary range shown reflects the full range for this role from minimum to maximum.
