SOME TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES: Performs skilled operations in repairing and overhauling gasoline and diesel motor equipment including trucks, buses, tractors, graders, bulldozers and power shovels, and a variety of specialty equipment including engines, brakes, transmissions, springs, rear-end and front loaders, hydraulics, fuel systems, air systems and air leaks. Possession of a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) valid in the State of New York, with endorsements appropriate to the type of motor equipment being operated, and acceptable driving record, are required at time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment.
