Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications In this role, you will:Develop and execute mission-level modeling and simulation analyses supporting space and ground mission architecturesSupport mission thread analysis, architecture evaluations, and system-level trade studiesAnalyze simulation outputs and communicate technical findings to program leadership and government stakeholdersSupport technical interchange meetings, customer briefings, mission analysis reviews, and demonstrations to government stakeholdersCollaborate with government, SETA, FFRDC, and contractor teams supporting enterprise mission engineering initiativesAssist with development of scalable cloud-based simulation and analysis workflowsSupport development of reusable modeling, simulation, and analysis frameworksContribute to identification and assessment of mission risks, issues, and gaps (RIG)Develop high-fidelity simulation software and analysis tools for a diverse range of complex systems and validate these models against real-world dataPerform code review for peers and provide technical feedback and suggestions to other engineering teams to drive platform improvementRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical discipline3–7 years of experience in modeling & simulation, systems engineering, mission analysis, mission engineering, or digital engineeringExperience supporting space, missile defense, OPIR, SDA, BMC3, or related national security space programsExperience with one or more technical tools/languages such as MATLAB, Python,, or similar modeling and analysis environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong data analysis skills working with large datasetsAbility to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience working in collaborative, multi-organization technical environmentsExperience supporting customer briefings or technical presentations Experience supporting mission engineering or enterprise architecture analysis effortsActive TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain and maintain onePreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with MBSE and digital engineering methodologiesExperience with cloud-based simulation or distributed analysis environmentsKnowledge of space mission architectures, constellation analysis, or missile warning/tracking systemsExperience supporting SSC, Space Force, SDA, or related defense organizationsCompensation:The typical salary pay range for this position is USD $120,000 – $150,000 annually.
