As the Software Design Engineer you will be responsible for developing system level requirements for new software capabilities, working with systems engineering to develop mid level and low level design, exploring how to integrate new software tools into legacy code base, creating systems engineering artifacts (architecture diagrams, system flows, design documents, etc.), and coordinating development plans with systems, software, and test teams. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
