Prospect, develop, and close new business across key verticals • Manage and grow an existing book of business • Build strategic, multi-platform marketing programs aligned with client objectives • Develop relationships with CMOs, Marketing Directors, Business Development leaders, and Managing Partners among other decision makers • Identify and penetrate new categories aligned with Crain's audience • Collaborate with internal marketing, events, and editorial teams to craft custom solutions • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM reporting • Meet and exceed revenue targets. • 5+ years of B2B media sales experience • Proven success in prospecting and generating net-new revenue • Experience selling digital, event sponsorships, content marketing, or integrated media programs • Existing relationships within NYC business sectors preferred, especially in the areas of financial services, law firms, consulting firms, professional service organizations, and real estate • Strong consultative selling skills a must • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles • Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial.
