Your underwriting decisions will directly influence customers’ ability to secure financing for their new homes, making attention to detail, sound judgment, and collaboration essential to success. This role is primarily remote, with occasional onsite meetings as needed. What You’ll Do <ul><li>	Underwrite Conventional, FHA, and VA loans in accordance with investor and agency guidelines</li><li>	Submit files through automated underwriting systems and evaluate results</li><li>	Approve or pend loans and present qualifying files to loan committee</li><li>	Serve as a trusted underwriting resource for branch partners, assisting with scenarios, questions, and complex files</li><li>	Maintain a consistent 24–48 hour turnaround on new submissions and resubmissions</li><li>	Ensure accurate loan documentation and proper file maintenance</li><li>	Utilize office systems and tools to support efficient underwriting operations</li></ul> What We’re Looking For <ul><li>	Active FHA Direct Endorsement (DE) and VA SAR/LAPP underwriting approval</li><li>	Minimum 5 years of mortgage underwriting experience</li><li>	Strong customer service mindset with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach</li><li>	Proven ability to work cross-functionally with mortgage and lending partners</li><li>	Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>	Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills</li><li>	Comfort working in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis</li><li>	Experience with Encompass preferred (not required)</li></ul> Interested in hearing more? Let us take care of the processing! Branch Managers work strategically with their sales team in collaboration with operations staff; overseeing their branches responsibilities for active production and pipeline management. This position has a $36,000 base salary plus incentive pay.
