Performs electrical maintenance to a variety of plant electrical and distribution equipment by rebuilding, installing, inspecting, adjusting, repairing, testing and/or modifying circuit breakers, relays (as they apply to plant auxiliaries, etc.), AC-DC generators, motors, Transmission and Distribution busses, power and control wiring, conduit, oil and gas ignition systems, exciters, main and auxiliary transformers, switchgear, disconnects, general lighting and communications systems, etc. Performs structural steel maintenance on plant equipment by inspecting, installing, repairing, removing, modifying, laying out, and fabricating iron and steel components such as, stacks, ducts, equipment housings, chutes, wear plates, hoppers, girders, beams, plates, column, hand rails, platforms, walkways, all types of scaffolding, etc.
