Perform MRI Imaging procedures • Operate the Esaote O-Scan 03T MRI system and follow all safety and manufacturer protocols • Perform patient identification, MRI safety screening, and exam preparation • Position patients and select appropriate imaging protocols • Monitor patients, maintain safety in all MRI zones, and enforce 5-Gauss line restrictions • Complete documentation, upload images to PACS, and maintain MRI logs • Perform and record daily QC and report equipment concerns • Participate in required MRI safety training and support DOH inspections • Communicate patient concerns, abnormal findings during scanning, and safety issues immediately • Participate in staff meetings and MRI safety training updates • Support teaching and demonstration for students observing MRI workflows • Apply the necessary technical judgement to obtain studies of an acceptable diagnostic quality according to written protocols and the patient needs • Provide patient education relevant to specific imaging procedures • Assist radiologist as required • Maintain all patient safety questionaries prior to introducing any patients into the MRI scan room • Attend in services and other professional development meetings as required. • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI Technologist program • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in radiology and magnetic resonance imaging • Radiologic Technologist - MRI (RT-MR) • Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (RT-R) • Current BLS certification • Completion of FCNY MRI Safety Training Levels 1 & 2 • One year experience in Diagnostic Imaging • Proficient in EMR, RIS, PACS modality software • Strong communication, problem solving, and customer service skills.
