p>Employees at this level perform a variety of technical and patient care tasks in the department utilizing magnetic resonance energy and radio-frequency waves to produce medical images of the human body and/or animals for diagnosis, treatment, and/or research. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist also performs other tasks such as administering contrast and ensures that patients/subjects and visitors are screened for MRI safety prior to performing MRI exams.
