Primary Responsibilities: -Developing and implementing engaging music lessons for elementary and middle school students -Incorporating movement, storytelling, singing, and artistic expression into instruction -Preparing students for seasonal festivals, assemblies, concerts, and celebrations -Differentiating instruction to support diverse learning styles and student needs -Creating a warm, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment -Collaborating with faculty and participating in the life of the school community Skills & Qualifications: -Valid California Single Subject Credential in Music -Experience working with school-aged children -Strong musical background and enthusiasm for teaching -Knowledge of or interest in Waldorf education preferred -Ability to foster creativity, joy, and student engagement through music. The Music Teacher will work with students in grades 5-8 and help create meaningful musical experiences through singing, rhythm, movement, seasonal celebrations, and performance opportunities that support the developmental needs of students.
