Manage weight control during vessel modifications and perform deadweight surveys and inclining experiments when required - Survey existing vessels to determine scope of repair and maintenance activities - Perform and/or oversee vessel hull structure design for hull repair, modification, new or increased equipment loading, and new construction - Analyze vessel stability for cargo, construction machinery loading, and crane operations; develop load capacity charts for derrick barge cranes and mobile cranes on barges - Provide engineering support for hull outfitting and marine equipment, including cranes and other material handling equipment, winches, mooring systems, electrical and hydraulic powering systems, piping and ventilation, etc. - Experience working in a team setting - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with individuals at all levels of the organization - Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment - Ability to organize and handle multiple project assignments - Ability to travel/TDY assignments and/or relocate based on business needs - Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments.
