<div><strong>Job Title:</strong>  Assy & Test/Tech 'A' - Navy - 2nd Shift</div><div><strong>Date:</strong> October 3, 2025.</div><div>L<strong>ocation</strong>:  South El Monte, US, 91733</div><div><strong>Company:</strong> VACCO Industries an RBC Company.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>SUMMARY: </strong></div><div>Assembles pneumatic and hydraulic valves, partially or completely, and conducts a variety of tests on systems, subassemblies, and parts to ensure unit functions according to acceptance procedures or to determine cause of unit failure by performing the following duties.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></div><ul><li>Conducts high pressure and cryogenic testing safely.</li><li>Working from blueprints assembles and tests various valves and filters within allotted timeframe and insures conformance with assembly performance tests specifications.</li><li>Working from blueprints, work orders, quality control test manuals, performance specifications, schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.</li><li>Calibrates test instruments according to specifications.</li><li>Analyzes test results related to the design and test objectives, modifies or adjusts equipment to meet specifications.</li><li>Records these test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data and recommendations for changes in product or test method.</li><li>Compares results with specifications and documents test data.</li><li>Assembles various quiet disc stacks.</li><li>Analyzes test results on defective units to determine cause of failure.</li><li>Verifies dimensions of mechanical parts using hand-held measuring equipment such as micrometers, indicators and depth mikes.</li><li>Verifies dimensions of mechanical parts using hand-held measuring equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of chem etching (markings), tube bending and how to clean parts in pre-clean.</li><li>Ability to operate and maintain equipment such as Instron machines, AstroMed and mass spectrometer.</li><li>Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, quality control personnel and others regarding testing procedures and results to resolve problems.</li><li>Capable of operating airborne and structure borne noise measurement equipment.</li></ul><div><br/></div><div><strong>QUALIFICATIONS: </strong></div><ul><li>Possess interpersonal skills required to build relationships and work in a team environment.</li><li>Possess good leadership skills.</li><li>Good communication skills both verbal and written.</li><li>Ability to use good judgment in decision making and problem solving.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprint and schematic drawings.</li><li>Working knowledge of standard test equipment i.e. data recorders, pressure transducers and gauges, flow measuring devices, environmental chambers, thermo-coupling, and helium leak detectors.</li><li>Proficiency in the use of MS software such as Word, Excel and Outlook.</li><li>Basic knowledge of plant operations and processes.</li><li>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Two year certificate from college or technical school; with three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or a High School Diploma or GED Certificate and five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul><div><br/></div><div><strong>EMPLOYEMENT INFORMATION: </strong></div><div>This position requires U.S. citizenship. <br/><br/><strong>To formally apply, please complete the following step:<br/></strong>Visit the <a href="https://careers.vacco.com/search/?createNewAlert=false&q=&locationsearch=" rel="nofollow"><strong>VACCO Careers Portal</strong></a> and search for the position using the exact job title provided in this posting.
