Contracts Manager

The Manager drives continuous process improvement projects and development of the client's customized contract repository. </p><h4>Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.</li><li>Maintain confidential handling of client's vendor contracts, vendor relationships, and related information.</li><li>Research, develop, and implement innovate best-in-class contract practices.</li><li>Build legal operations function as first embedded legal subject matter expert in client business unit.</li><li>Review, draft, negotiate, and track vendor agreements including nondisclosure agreements, services agreements, and subscription agreements in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.</li><li>Perform risk assessments and provide mitigation advice in partnership with client's Legal department, with a focus on joint employment and enforceability.</li><li>Respond to contractual inquiries on a timely basis and in compliance with enterprise policies in partnership with client's Legal department</li><li>In collaboration with key business partners, evaluate contractual SLAs and additional financial terms to ensure operational cohesion.</li><li>Manage a portfolio of projects and tools related to the contract lifecycle, internal processes and policies, and business partner training.</li><li>Develop and manage contract knowledge management resources defining enterprise-level processes and policies.</li><li>Develop and manage contract lifecycle management (CLM) customization to fit evolving client needs.</li><li>Develop and manage relationships with key business partners with a focus on the client's legal department.</li><li>Develop and deliver the client's internal teams with progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.</li><li>Guide team members and ensure goals and objectives are met.</li><li>Provide procedural review, analysis, and development within the business unit.</li><li>Explore and adopt changing technology in preparedness for and to accommodate evolving company needs.</li><li>All other duties, as assigned.</li></ul><h4>Qualifications</h4><p>Bachelor's degree with three to five years of legal operations experience focused on contract management activities including CLM implementation, planning and leading complex negotiations, and managing supplier contracts.</p><ul><li>Collaborative and positively influence suppliers, business partners, and internal team members globally.</li><li>Knowledge of legal operations fundamentals.</li><li>Understanding of legal ethics and business ethics</li><li>Able to interpret financial terms in contracts with limited guidance.</li><li>Project management skills.</li><li>Client orientated and results driven.</li><li>Able to operate and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and changing deadlines.</li><li>Able to navigate complex ethical landscape with consistent integrity.</li><li>Attentive to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Able to carry out multiple complex assignments simultaneously.</li><li>Able to identify, define, prioritize, resolve problems, and draw supportable conclusions.</li><li>Serve as a positive and effective team leader.</li><li>Computer skills; Microsoft Office.</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><p>With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions;</p><ul><li>Regular computer usage.</li><li>Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.</li><li>Frequent sitting.</li><li>Travel, as required.</li></ul><p>Pinkerton is an equal opportunity employer to all applicants and positions without regard to race/ethnicity, color, national origin, ancestry, sex/gender, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, marital/prenatal status, pregnancy/childbirth or related conditions, religion, creed, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any protected status by local, state, federal or country-specific law.</p>
