Education and Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of experience, including 1 year of PCU experience, with skills in telemetry, trach care, CIWA, BiPAP, central line management, tube/drain management, and cardiac rhythm interpretation. Support on the unit includes a charge nurse, resource nurse, RT, hospitalist, and therapy teams; orientation includes hospital and unit-based training, along with the completion of a telemetry competency.
