The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is a 23-bed, single room level III NICU that admits ~280 newborns a year and takes pride of having neonatal outcomes within the best quartile among Vermont Oxford Network reporting units in the U.S. Since 2007 our hospital has partnered with the March of Dimes for the only fully staffed Family Support Program in Maryland, advocating for the best experience possible for our NICU families.
