The Division includes a large outpatient clinical service with specialty clinics in hypertension, bone/mineral disorders, and genetic disorders, in addition to a nationally recognized end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) program with a home hemodialysis program, one of the lowest dialysis infection rates and one of the nation’s best graft survival rates. Our team of providers includes 10 Nephrology faculty with appointments at either the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine or the University of Kansas School of Medicine, 3 dietitians, 2 social workers, a psychologist, 6 transplant coordinators, 7 nurse practitioners, 6 research coordinators, a child life specialist and nursing personnel in clinic and dialysis with 100% effort dedicated to Nephrology.
