p style="margin-bottom:8pt">Our team of providers includes 10 Nephrology faculty with appointments at either the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine or the University of Kansas School of Medicine, 3 dietitians, 2 social workers, a psychologist, 6 transplant coordinators, 7 nurse practitioners, 6 research coordinators, a child life specialist and nursing personnel in clinic and dialysis with 100% effort dedicated to Nephrology. The Division includes a large outpatient clinical service with specialty clinics in hypertension, bone/mineral disorders, and genetic disorders, in addition to a nationally recognized end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) program with a home hemodialysis program, one of the lowest dialysis infection rates and one of the nation’s best graft survival rates.
