Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess the following knowledgeand professional work experience: Knowledge of emergency management programs with special emphasis on Individual Assistance programs, Voluntary Agency functioning, and National VOAD doctrine and the National Recovery Framework; 2) Past work experience in local, regional, state or federal government or with a VOAD organization. General Summary : Under broad supervision, Community Partnerships Manager is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing statewide program activities to coordinate assistance for emergency and disaster survivors through a network of community, faith based, voluntary organization, private sector partners and local governments.
