SHIFT DETAILSAs our Quality Control Laboratory Technician, you will work night shifts from 6:00 PM - 6:00 AMWHAT YOU'LL NEEDAssociate or bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical engineering, or closely related scientific field or equivalent experienceAbility to work in a laboratory and manufacturing environmentAbility to collaborate with production teams on quality and technical mattersAbility to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, reach, bend, twist, and handle laboratory equipment and samples, and lift and carry up to 25 poundsStrong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detailAbility to pass a pulmonary function test (PFT) and meet respiratory protection requirementsAbility to work safely around chemicals and manufacturing equipment, as well as, work around chemicals, fumes, vapors, airborne particles, and varying noise levelsAbility to be exposed to hazardous or corrosive chemicals, vapors, fumes, airborne particles, moving equipment, and varying noise levelsAbility to follow laboratory and safety proceduresAbility to use PPE1+ years of laboratory experience in QC, R&D, chemical manufacturing, or a related field preferredExperience with laboratory testing, formulations, product development, data analysis, or process improvement preferredRecent graduates with relevant laboratory experience are encouraged to applyWHO WE AREJoin The Lewis Chemical Company (TLC), an employee-owned specialty chemical manufacturer where innovation, integrity, and people come first.
