General duties include but are not limited to: proper collection and disposal of general and medical waste, Infection Control practices for disinfecting all surfaces, proper cleaning occupied/discharged patient rooms, triage rooms and surgical suites, bathrooms, isolation rooms, vacuum and extract carpets, elevators, walls, windows, doors, furniture, floors, and complete dusting/cleaning of all surfaces. Housekeeping and Laundry Aides will maintain and improve the facility daily through consistent cleanliness, linen and supply, customer service, friendliness, courtesy, teamwork, safety, and quality performance improvement.
