WORK SCHEDULEFull-time positionTypical schedule consists of 3 shifts per weekOvernight scheduleAdditional $5/hour overnight shift differentialWeekend availability preferredWHAT'S REQUIRED TO BE OUR NIGHT SHIFT EMERGENCY ROOM VET TECHNICIAN?Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology programAdvanced technical skills in digital radiography, ultrasound imaging, IDEXX lab equipment, anesthetic ventilation, endoscopy, CT, dialysis, and ventilationOne of the following is required:Veterinary technology certification or licensureExperience working in a veterinary practice or emergency veterinary medicinePreference will be given to candidates who can work overnight and weekend shifts. Throughout your shift, you'll triage incoming emergency patients, collaborate with veterinarians to develop treatment plans, administer IV therapy, provide wound care, assist with feeding tube management, perform detailed patient assessments, place catheters, collect laboratory samples, and assist with blood and plasma transfusions while ensuring every patient is treated with compassion and care.
