<b>Job Description:</b><div></div><div>Industry: Aerospace / Aviation / Defense</div><div>Job Category: Manufacturing - Production</div><div><div>Job Description </div><div>Primary Purpose of the Job </div><div><br/></div><div>We are currently looking for Production Supervisors in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, within our Kawneer business, a leading manufacturer of architectural aluminum products and systems for the commercial construction industry. </div><div><br/></div><div>Our Production Supervisors are essential to our plant s success, driving operational performance by leading teams, ensuring safety and quality standards, meeting production goals, and directly impacting efficiency, employee engagement, and continuous improvement across the plant. </div><div><br/></div><div>As a Production Supervisor, you will lead and manage a team of 10 to 35 employees within one of several departments, with a primary focus of ensuring that production processes run efficiently, safely, and with a commitment to high-quality standards. </div><div><br/></div><div>To become successful, you must have strong communication, influencing and leadership skills to lead your team, work collaboratively with fellow supervisors to make timely decisions, maintain product flow throughout the plant, and achieve operational goals by monitoring output, managing information flow, and driving overall team effectiveness. </div><div><br/></div><div>SCHEDULE: This role follows a 12-hour night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, operating on a 2-3-2 rotating schedule over a two-week cycle. This schedule provides a consistent 2-3-2 rotation with every other weekend off and a built-in three-day mid-week break every other week, supporting work-life balance and recovery. Additionally, for weeks worked over 40 hours you are paid overtime. Champion EHS initiatives across the organization. </div><div>Engage and coach hourly teams in process improvement and rapid problem-solving activities. Spend 25 50% of your time directly interacting with and coaching production employees. </div><div>Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing, 5S, standardized work, work balancing, product flow, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). </div><div>Drive root cause problem-solving to prevent recurrence of issues and improve long-term performance. </div><div>Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions to ensure production goals are met. </div><div>Communicate effectively with team members, peers, and other departments to ensure alignment and smooth operations. </div><div>Maintain accurate production and quality assurance records for your designated area and shift. </div><div>Meet or exceed production targets, including output, safety, on-time delivery, and people development initiatives. </div><div>Consistently enforce workplace rules, policies, procedures, and labor agreements to maintain a fair and compliant work environment. </div><div>Plan and execute departmental operations, including scheduling, crew assignments, and overtime management. </div><div>Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring internal and external expectations are met. </div><div>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate priorities and align on production goals. </div><div>Perform other duties as needed to support business objectives and plant performance. </div><div><br/></div><div>Qualifications </div><div>Minimum Qualifications </div><div><br/></div><div>High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution </div><div>Minimum three (3) years experience in a manufacturing, industrial, farming or military environment with at least one (1) year in a leadership/supervisor capacity. </div><div>Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Job Summary<br/><br/><br/>Performs a variety of healthcare environmental services (EVS) duties to enhance the healthcare environment by maintaining the location assigned. Follows special healthcare cleaning and trash handling techniques as required, ensuring professional and appropriate service standards while performing the job.
