Must have the physical ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the work day which involve continuous body movement, force exertion, and balancing such as: lifting typical bus parts, lifting and closing bus tail gates, lifting and closing paratransit vehicle tilt front engine covers, lifting, twisting, pushing and pulling farebox vaults, opening and closing bus windows, climbing up and down bus steps, lifting cement bags, removing and installing streetcar wheel panels, removing and replacing bus wheel/tire assemblies, pushing downtown cleaning supply cart, moving furniture, mopping floors, cleaning interior and exterior bus windows, shoveling dirt/trash, stooping to check fuel tank gauges on propane vehicles, climbing ladders at least 10 ft. Sign Worker: Responsible for non-skilled work which involves installation of bus benches, shelters, and route signage, trims trees, performs landscape duties, and cleans and maintains VIA facilities.
