Specific duties include but are not limited to: Provide support in overseeing equipment assignments in preparation for driver routes Assist in determining manpower required to staff routes efficiently while ensuring on-time service and that our customers freight is delivered/picked-up in a timely manner Review daily performance reports to identify problem areas; monitor and analyze all opportunities to improve efficiencies Adjust routes as needed due to traffic, weather or other foreseen circumstances Answer questions/concerns from drivers, including but not limited to, company policies and procedures, dispatch rules, drivers manual, safety and security procedures Monitor and input data into all applicable systems. Communicate with supervisors, planners and customer service to coordinate projections and movement of trailers and freight Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and report any issues Monitor progress of shipments; ensure cut-times and appointment compliance; notify management and/or customers of any delays Verify and complete required documentation and reports; perform administrative functions as required Communicate with Account Executives/Manager, as required, to ensure customers and companys needs are met Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Perform other duties as required.
