Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: **Experience Required:** - Minimum 2 years of experience - Experience in Neuro/Spine/ENT is required for first-timers - Extensive experience in Hepatobiliary, Whipple, and Abdominal Organ transplant **Certifications Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required for Barnes-Jewish Hospital location and must be obtained by compliance hard document deadline **Skills Required:** - Proficient in complex Spine, ENT, Neuro, intrabdominal transplant - Skills in ALIF (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion), Anterior cervical fusion, Craniotomy, Heart, Kidney, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/discectomy, Laryngectomy, Liver, Lumbar fusion, Lung, Organ donation, Ortho/Spine, Radical neck dissection, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy, Whipple, XLIF (Extreme Lateral Interbody Fusion) - Charting in EPIC system **Licensure:** - MO: Submit without license OK; requires MO or compact (no issuance if tied to another compact state) - IL: License in hand required at time of submittal - Compact: Must match permanent residence otherwise submit for update + confirm ETA **Weekend and On-Call Requirements:** - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - On-call Requirement: Yes, after shift until 0630 possible weekends; 5-6 call shifts in a 6 week period; Average one 12-hour weekday call shift and one weekend Sat and Sun shift per 6 week schedule **Additional Requirements:** - Must be able to float within the service line to skill set level - Cannot accommodate block schedule - No local candidates accepted within 75-mile radius **Special Procedures/Unit Details:** - Circulating required, scrubbing optional - High-acuity procedures such as Level 1 trauma, Neurosurgery cranial, Neurosurgery Spine, Orthopedic spine, ENT, Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery **Other Requirements:** - No new RTO after submission, no RTO allowed the first week of an assignment - Must complete modules pre-start, up to 16 hours billable at $20/hr **Parking:** - Parking passes available, monthly fees apply based on location.
