Evaluate process, work performance on each associate, and make recommendations.</li><li>Keep records during each shift on attendance, absence, call-ins, and overtime schedule and accurately approve associate time in ADP.</li><li>Handle the first step grievances within assigned shift in accordance established policy.</li><li>Support and ensure associates and the manufacturing function(s) adhere and utilize fully all lean tools including those in PG1OPS (6S, Visual Management, RTFT and Tier Communication).</li><li>Perform other tasks that are reasonable to the job as requested by Direct Management.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>Supervision Scope:</strong> Direct supervision over hourly union associates and coordinates with various other departments.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>Key Requirements:</strong></div><ul><li>A results driven individual who has demonstrated ability working in a high-performance manufacturing environment.</li><li>Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing management environment.</li><li>Must have good attention to detail.</li><li>Must be able to manage multiple, complex tasks and deal easily with pressure on a day in and day out basis.</li><li>Must be able to motivate, communicate and drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Critical thinker, with excellent analytical abilities.</li><li>Good written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Solid planning, leadership, computer and administrative skills.</li><li>High energy, demonstrates urgency and fast pace.</li><li>Must be adaptable, professional demeanor responding to change.</li><li>Good understanding of business principles and practices; functions as a change agent who can effectively manage manufacturing to achieve positive bottom line results.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>Desired Background:</strong></div><ul><li>4+ years of experience in manufacturing setting.</li><li>1-3 years supervisory experience leading a large team in a manufacturing setting highly preferred.</li><li>Strong project management skills.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>Education: </strong>Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.</div>
